Soda Ash delivers intense, darkly beautiful songs of femme angst, touching on the pains and ecstasies of life. With recognizable elements of indie, goth, punk, and industrial music, their music features almost taboo lyrics over tribal yet machine-like drums, hypnotizing guitar riffs, throbbing bass structures and haunting keyboard melodies.
Formed in the college town of Columbia, MO, Soda Ash members' cities of origin span the continent. Reviewers have compared them to bands as diverse as Velvet Underground, Hole, Garbage, Placebo, Jesus & Mary Chain, Ministry, and even Pink Floyd.
